Qevero SEO & AI Search Audit Tool
At Qevero we have developed our own tool which is able to measure the SEO and AI search visibility of a website.
Jasper Sayer, Managing Director
The Internal System
Every site is scored out of 100 in four categories, and the categories and weightings never change. That means a score of 50 means the same thing for a hotel as it does for a haulage firm.
- Technical SEO: how easily search engines can crawl, index and understand the site. This covers canonicals, sitemaps, robots rules and structured data.
- Local search visibility: whether the business’s name, address and phone details are complete and consistent across the site, Companies House and the directories Google relies on.
- On-page content: headings, titles, meta descriptions and whether service pages say enough to rank.
- Mobile and accessibility: responsive layout, tap-to-call, alt text and usability.
The overall score is a simple average of the four. Each issue is graded as critical, a warning, or working well. We report what’s right as well as what’s wrong.
Why Is It Important
More customers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google’s AI Overviews for recommendations instead of scrolling through search results. So every audit includes a separate AI visibility check. We look at whether AI crawlers are allowed in, whether the business is set up as a clear entity with Organization schema and consistent details, and whether it actually appears when someone searches for its name or its category. We keep this score out of the main average so the two can be tracked independently.
